Records were set at this year’s Black and White Ball hosted by the Starved Rock Regional Center. The center says 240 tickets were sold and over $70,000 was raised. Their goal was $50,000. The money goes back to the regional center to help get staff and to make improvements to the building in Ottawa. The center helps over 500 children a year in LaSalle, Bureau and surrounding counties. The ball was held at the Auditorium Ballroom in LaSalle for the first time as well.
