LaSalle-Peru High School will have more post-season sports competitions after the next phase of its sports complex is done. School officials broke ground yesterday on the $9.5 million project to add baseball and softball diamonds, expand the tennis courts, and put artificial turf on the soccer field. The complex will also have a building with a concession stand, press box, and restrooms. The actual construction hasn’t started yet but is expected to start soon so everything can be ready in time for the 2023-2024 sports seasons.
