A man was found dead at US Silica in Ottawa Sunday. LaSalle County Sheriff’s say they were first called after a vehicle was reported to be in the sand pit. The vehicle belonged to a person that the Ottawa Police Department reported missing that morning. The body of 31-year old Joshua Szarka was later found in a ravine. No foul play is suspected. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. LaSalle County Sheriff’s and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office are still investigating the incident.
