Local rescue services and the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office were sent to Naplate to recover a body from a ravine yesterday afternoon. The body was in the U.S. Silica ravine near the Naplate baseball field. Most emergency service vehicles were at the Naplate fire station, but a few went to the U.S. Silica main entrance.
