A Serena man faces several charges for allegedly going on a rampage at a home remodeling site in Serena Wednesday. Fifty-three year old Jeffrey Grady is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and property damage.
Prosecutors say he hit someone’s truck with a crowbar and threatened someone else on the remodeling crew with it. Then, Grady allegedly got into his SUV and tried to run someone over. To arrest him, Sheriff’s deputies used a stun gun.
Judge H. Chris Ryan set bond Thursday morning at $50,000. If he bonds out, Grady’s not allowed to go near some of his relatives who feel threatened by him. Grady’s to be in court again in two weeks with his public defender after a grand jury reviews the charges.
