Today’s the first day for early voting across most of Illinois. It’ll happen at the Etna Rd. courthouse in Ottawa from 8am to 4:30pm on weekdays. The County Clerk will also hold special hours for it on some Saturdays leading up to the formal election day of April 4. There are elections for city councils, village trustees, school boards, library districts, and one referendum in LaSalle County. Voters in the Reading Township Fire Protection District will decide on a property tax levy to pay for ambulance service.
Early voting begins for election ending April 4
