Ottawa to replace historic looking Washington Park lights

By WCMY News Feb 22, 2023 | 11:51 AM

Thirty-four lights in and around Ottawa’s Washington Park will be replaced. The city will spend $100,000 from the downtown tax increment financing fund. Commissioner Marla Pearson says the city’s spending more than planned on the project this year. The plan was to get only half the lights now.

Some of the lights were removed recently. Pearson says one fell over and two more were ready to. Others are looking bad but are still standing.
