Former Congressman Adam Kinzinger is writing a book to come out in October. It’s about the state of the Republican Party and the Christian faith. Kinzinger says he wants to tell the inside story of how the Republican Party and his faith have been hijacked by extremists who represent a real danger to American democracy.
The book will be titled Renegade: My Life in Faith, the Military, and Defending America from Trump’s Attack on Democracy. He says it’ll go into the attack on the Capitol two years ago, a misinformation campaign by Fox News, and families and faith communities taking up extremism.
Penguin Random House has scheduled it for an October 17th release.
