A person died of a gunshot wound after an incident in the 1100 block of Post St. in Ottawa this morning. Det. Cpl. Kevin Reynolds says it happened about 11am. An ambulance crew took the person to OSF St. Elizabeth where the person died. Reynolds says there will be an autopsy tomorrow. He says there is no danger to the public.
