A problem with the electrical system in Oglesby left people cold and in the dark overnight. The city opened the fire station as a warming center. City line workers got some parts of Oglesby on again. Others waited all night.
City Commissioner Jason Curran said the main breaker on the city’s primary transformer wouldn’t engage. He said the city’s crews will look into the problem after all parts of the city are switched to another transformer.
