St. Sen. Tom Bennett says the work in the legislature in the weeks ahead will be setting budget priorities.
He says the one-time federal stimulus payments boosted revenue and so did taxes because of inflation. But he says increasing spending and forgetting that much of the extra revenue was a one-time thing will lead to a tax increase.
