In Local Sports, last night right here on 1430 WCMY and 93.5 FM the Ottawa Lady Pirates defeated Lasalle-Peru 51-34 to advance to the regional championship game. Marlie Orlandi led with 19 and Grace Carroll added 14. In boys high school hoops, Serena lost to Seneca 41-37, Streator beat Reed-Custer 65-43, Marquette won over Midland 70-39. Griffin Walker led with 26. Hall defeated Riverdale 80-74, St. Bede lost to Mendota 68-58, Rochelle pulled out a win over Lasalle-Peru 69-68 and the Ottawa Pirates fell to Sandwich 56-34. >>Bulls Visit Pacers

(Indianapolis, IN)  —  The Bulls will try to snap a four-game losing streak when they visit the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse tonight.  The Bulls are coming off a 100-91 loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday night.  To make matters worse, DeMar DeRozan is dealing with a thigh strain and will miss at least tonight’s game.  Chicago is in 11th-place in the Eastern Conference at 26-and-31.

>>Illinois Falls To Penn State

(University Park, PA)  —  The Illinois Fighting Illini got off to a slow start during a 93-81 loss to Penn State at Bryce Jordan Center yesterday.  The Illini were outscored 53-40 in the first half and trailed by double-digit for most of the second half.  Terrence Shannon Jr. poured in 20 points in the loss.  Illinois dropped to 17-and-8 overall and 8-and-6 in the Big Ten.  The Illini are at number-15 Indiana on Saturday. 

>>Notre Dame Loses To Duke

(Durham, NC)  —  The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are on a four-game losing streak following a 68-64 loss to Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium.  Dane Goodwin scored a game-high 25 points off the bench.  Notre Dame is now 10-and-16 overall and 2-and-13 in the ACC.  The Irish are at number-six Virginia on Saturday.

>>Northwestern Hosts Indiana

(Evanston, IL)  —  The Northwestern Wildcats go for their fourth-straight win when they host number-15 Indiana at Welsh-Ryan Arena tonight.  The Wildcats knocked number-three Purdue out of the number-one spot in the country with a 64-58 upset victory on Sunday.  Northwestern is tied with Indiana for second-place in the Big Ten with a 9-and-5 conference mark and an 18-and-7 record overall.  Tonight’s game tips off at 8:00PM.

(Undated)  —  In other college hoops action last night, DePaul fell to St. John’s in double overtime 92-83, Northern Illinois lost to Ball State 87-77, and Valparaiso was defeated by Southern Illinois 66-62.  Tonight, Bradley hosts Missouri State, and Illinois State is at home against Murray State.

>Blackhawks Get Blanked By Canadiens

(Montreal, QC)  —  The Blackhawks couldn’t get the puck past Jake Allen during a 4-0 loss to the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre.  The Blackhawks managed just 22 shots-on-goal in the losing effort.  Jaxson Stauber stopped 27 of the 31 shots he faced.  Chicago remains in last-place in the Central Division with 37 points and a 16-31-and-5 record.  The Blackhawks visit Toronto tonight.
