School employees from districts in three counties will be honored in Ottawa on May 4th. The Regional Office of Education for LaSalle, Marshall, and Putnam counties will put on the Excellence in Education banquet at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The annual event recognizes teachers, administrators, and other school employees who do a lot to make their schools great. The event will start at 4pm and go for three hours. Those getting the awards are allowed to show up at whatever times are convenient. That presentation method has been in place since the pandemic started.
