In local girls high school hoops, Streator fell to Pontiac 61-32, St. Bede defeated Colfax-Ridgeview 44-42, and Lasalle-Peru rolled Hall 63-35. In other local sports, the Shepherd 7th and 8th grade volleyball team picked up wins over Sandwich. Leading the 7th grade was Meredith Waldron with 10 points and Zoey Torres chipped in eight. For the 8th grade Kendall Biba had 10 points and one kill. Piper Lewis added eight points and two digs.

The Bulls led by five entering the final frame, but they were outscored 37-21 to end the game. Zach LaVine poured in 38 points in the losing effort. The Bulls are in ninth-place in the Eastern Conference at 26-and-29. They visit Cleveland tomorrow night.
