OSF Streator Physical Therapist Kelly Anderson is the latest recipient of the OSF Healthcare Sunflower Award. The award recognizes extraordinary care from OSF employees who aren’t nurses. She was nominated by a patient named Julie Pollett. Pollett says after her knee surgery, Anderson told her to go see another doctor because she had trouble keeping her balance. She was later diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder but was thankful that Anderson kept pushing her to get better. Anderson has been with OSF for five years. She also talked about Pollett’s story at a conference about FND. Pollett said she was honored.
