The Dirksen Congressional Center has Congressional papers going back to 1933. Now it has former Congressman Adam Kinzinger’s. The Channahon Republican says he couldn’t think of a better place to get his papers and other items from 12 years in office. Kinzinger says he learned about Everett Dirksen when he was 12 years old and let Dirksen’s legacy guide him. The Dirksen Congressional Center is in Pekin.
