Shepherd Middle School Principal Candice Tennell is leaving. The Ottawa Elementary School Board approved a separation agreement Thursday morning at a special board meeting. Supt. Michelle Lee says the district will start looking for an interim principal for the rest of the school year. Board Pres. Brendan Donahue says the district is thankful for Tennell’s service as principal. The board didn’t say why Tennell is leaving. Her official last day is March 31st.
