LaSalle County Clerk Jennifer Ebner has begun taking election training. She’s preparing to put on election judge training in a few weeks. She’s asking people who want to be election judges to contact her.
People from the Illinois State Board of Elections and the county’s election machine vendor will help. Ebner says there’s a thorough manual telling what an election judge must do.
To be an election judge, you must be at least 18 years old, a Democrat or a Republican, and willing to commit to about 14 hours of work on Election Day.
