High school students can get a $500 college scholarship from LaSalle County Sheriff Adam Diss’s office. You must be enrolled as a full time student for the 2023-24 school year, be an Illinois resident, and must use the scholarship at an Illinois college. The Illinois Sheriffs’ Association is giving out over $58,000 worth of scholarships across the state. It was also announced that Mediacom’s $1,000 World Class Scholarship application date was extended. Students now have until February 28th to apply. The original deadline was the end of this month. You don’t have to be a customer, you just have to live in an area where Mediacom provides internet service.
