Donna M. Schultz, 84 of Streator, also known as Mom, MS. Schultz, Big Boss by her loved ones, passed away Tuesday evening January 17, 2023, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois.
Donna was born on December 27, 1938, in Streator, Illinois to Emmett and Mildred (Caldwell) Scudder. She married Rodney Schultz on January 21, 1955. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1992.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Lu) Schultz of Manville, Sandra (Tom) Beckcom of Midlothian, Il, Sue Schultz of Rockford, John (Kristy) Schultz of Streator, Kathy (Tom) Dennis of Streator, Kelly (Mike) Cox of Elkhart, Indiana, and Michelle (Derrick) Peppers of Rockford, 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great grandchildren and 6 Great, Great Grandchildren. A brother Ralph (Kathy) Scudder of Streator and a brother-in-law Art Keith of Streator and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rodney Schultz, son Robert Schultz, daughter in law Sandy Schultz, sister Sherry Keith, brothers Richard “Dick” Scudder and George Scudder and 2 great grandchildren.
Donna attended school in Henry, Illinois, and worked at Camelot Manor for over 20 years as a CNA and laundry aide. She delivered the Times Newspaper for over 20 years and was a crossing guard for Northlawn School for over 10 years. She loved to color, sew, mend and taylor garments. She loved attending parades and “Jammin At The Clock ” and loved family get-togethers for every occasion. She was a taxicab for all of her kids and neighbors on Frech Street.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 28, 2023, from 12 noon to 4pm at the Elks Lodge dining room in Streator, Illinois. Flowers or deliveries will be accepted at the Elks after 10 am on Saturday Jan. 28th.
