Carus LLC says it’s making and shipping out phosphates at the LaSalle facility where there was a fire last week. Phosphates are made in a different part of the building than the one that burned. They’re used for corrosion control in water systems. Carus President and CEO Andy Johnston says it’s great to be shipping products again and he thanks customers for their support and patience. That work resumed on Wednesday.
