A homeless man said he was sorry for his shenanigans after he pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle last week. 45-year old Eugene Orvis was sentenced to eight years in prison. He also pleaded guilty to an escape charge for not spending a weekend at the county jail. Assistant State’s Attorney Jeremiah Adams says it’s six for the robbery and stolen vehicle and two years for the escape charge. Orvis tried to rob the gas station in April last year. He also stole a car from the gas station a week later but abandoned it on Guion St.
