(Chicago, IL) — The Chicago Fire FC are improving their defense. The club signed defender Jonathan Dean to a contract yesterday. Dean’s contract keeps him in Chicago through the end of the 2023 campaign, and it includes team options for 2024 and 2025. The 25-year-old spent the last three seasons with the Birmingham Legion in the USL Championship. Dean played in 81 matches at the USL level.
