Christmas tree disposal is different in Ottawa this time. Riordan Pool is under reconstruction, so the pool parking lot can’t be used to collect and mulch the trees people are done with. They’re being collected in an area on Utica Dr. by the Ed Whitney baseball field until January 31st. That’s accessible from Champlain St. north of the water treatment plant. Look for the yellow barricades. Anything that’s not a natural part of the tree must be removed before you leave it there.
