A local dealership in Marseilles is making a major change. Terry Bentz Buick will soon become Terry Bentz Sales and Service. Owner Terry Bentz told the Marseilles City Council last night that General Motors is making Buick vehicles all electric by 2030 and he would either have to invest $300-$400 thousand to get equipment for electric cars or let them buy him out of his contract. He decided to let the company buy out the contract. Although he won’t be able to sell any GM cars, he says he will still sell late model used cars like he has been doing. He says that’s been selling those types of cars for fifty years.

Although the dealership won’t be a Buick dealer anymore, Bentz says customers will still be able to get service on their cars. But it will look more like his other dealership which is Terry’s Auto Haus in Ottawa.
