Ottawa man convicted of sexual contact with a child

A 32-year old Ottawa man could get up to 30 years in prison for the predatory criminal sexual assault of a child. LaSalle County Judge H. Chris Ryan found Ayrimis Scerini guilty of that charge this week. Prosecutor Matt Kidder presented police interview videos and anatomical drawings as evidence. Scerini’s side offered no testimony. He’s to be sentenced on February 23rd. The victim is a girl under age 13. The crime happened on March 5th in rural Marseilles.
