Warm Neighbors Cool Friends provides help to those making too much for LIHEAP eligibility

There’s a non-profit group that works with Ameren Illinois to help people who make too much to qualify for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. It’s called Warm Neighbors Cool Friends. The organization provides a year-round payment assistance to help people with their electric bills. Executive Director Susan Sams:

Sams says everywhere you go, people are talking about how expensive everything is because of inflation. But the program is there to help people who have never asked for or needed help paying their electric bills.
