A Dana man is starting two years on probation for falsely reporting his pickup truck stolen. Twenty-four year old Brandon Johnson pleaded guilty in LaSalle County this morning to disorderly conduct. He reported his truck stolen back in July. But police figured out he tried to cross a train track when he shouldn’t have and a train hit it.

Marshall County authorities found the wreck in Toluca. He pleaded guilty to traffic charges there in September. The disorderly conduct charge was in LaSalle County because that’s where he was when he called police.

Johnson accepted the plea agreement in front of Judge H. Chris Ryan today.
