Oglesby closes micro-pantries due to vandalism

Someone keeps damaging the micro-pantries in Oglesby. Mayor Dominic Rivara says until a way to prevent it can be figured out, the micro-pantries are closed. They were put there to offer food to people who need it without them having to ask for it face-to-face or fill out applications. Rivara says it’s disheartening that vandals would keep striking the micro-pantries. Food packages are available at Oglesby City Hall.
