In girls high school hoops, Seneca defeated Henry 51-19. Kennedy Hartwig led the way with 10 points for Seneca. Evelynn O’Connor added eight points in the victory. Streator fell to Peotone 61-11. Serena defeated Earlville 59-21. Paisley Twait led the way with 19 points, Jenna Setchell added 15 points as well in the victory. Mendota defeated St. Bede 46-43, and Princeton defeated Hall 42-41. The Marquette Lady Crusaders defeated Midland last night 39-34. Lily Craig led the way with 14 points and five rebounds. Avery Durdan added nine points as well in the victory. In Grade school hoops Marquette Academy defeated Wallace 22-15 in the IESA regional championship last night 22-15. Libby Muffler and Bobbi Snook both had four points apiece in the loss for Wallace. Marquette was led by Anna Hjerpe and Morgan Collins with seven points apiece. In other local sports, the Ottawa Boys Bowling team fell to Lasalle-Peru last night. Nelson Brandt led all scorers with a series high 596 and high games of 211 and 212. Evan Spencer added a 514 series and a 220 high game.

(Chicago, IL) — The NFL’s oldest rivalry gets renewed on Sunday when the Chicago Bears play host to the Green Bay Packers. The Bears will be looking to snap their recent losing streak. Chicago has dropped each of its last five games heading into Week 13. Justin Fields leads the Bears with over 24-hundred combined yards and 20 touchdowns. He missed last week’s game with an injury, but he was a full participant in yesterday’s practice. Chicago sits last in the NFC North with a record of 3-and-9. Sunday’s game kicks off at noon.
