Judith Harmon, 87, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Ottawa Pavilion.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 5, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Ottawa Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM following the visitation at the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains will take place on Friday, December 9, at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Utica.
Judith was born February 1, 1935, in Chicago, IL, to Wilbur and Eleanor (Wruck) Grot . She married Kenneth Harmon on January 26, 1957 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa.
She worked as a hostess and a hair dresser, as well as a clown. She was a bluebird, girl scout, and a cub scout leader. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. Above all, she loved her family and would never miss an opportunity to go to her children or grandchildren’s games.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth; her children, Lisa Martin and Phil Harmon; her granddaughter, Ashley (Joe) Force; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Aubrey, Ella, and Paxton; and her brothers, Don (Suzanne) and Jim (Sharon) Grot. Judith was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any no kill animal shelter or Shriners.
