For a second year in a row, the Poco a Poco organization is doing their Christmas Singing Telegrams. People can request an audio message for $25 or a personalized video message for $50 dollars. The messages will be recorded and sung by Executive Director Kate Tombaugh. She says for the video messages, the person sending it will get to pick two songs for her to sing. That includes songs like Away in a Manger and Jingle Bells.
You can find a link to sign up for the telegrams on the organizations website www.pocoapoco.org. The money from the fundraiser will go back to the program’s eight-days of music classes for high school students. Orders for the telegrams will be taken until December 21st.Tombaugh also says the telegrams are a microcosm of what the organization does.
