Judith Lynn (Vissering) Pineda, 74, of Ottawa, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 AM, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with Msgr, Mark Merdian officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery.
Judy was born July 31, 1948, in Streator, IL, to Harmy and Mildred (Gebhardt) Vissering.
She retired from Kraft Foods Global after 34 years and she volunteered at OSF St. Elizabeth for twelve years. Judy was a devout member of St. Francis Assisi Church and was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society.
Judy is survived by her siblings, Sandy (Steve) Hill, Carol (David) Winn, Gene ( Janice) Vissering and Peggy (Frank) Rizzo; many special nieces and nephews that she spent time with; her son, Joseph Daniel; three step-daughters; eleven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmy and Mildred Vissering.
