Mendota Police continue to investigate an armed robbery that happened Tuesday evening. Police Chief Greg Kellen says a vehicle pulled up alongside a man in the area of Wisconsin Ave. and Chicago St. The person driving pulled out a gun and pointed it at a man walking in the area. The man gave the driver the money and the vehicle pulled away. Anyone with information about the incident can call the Mendota Police Department at 815-539-9331.
