There were no problems revealed during the LaSalle Station nuclear power plant emergency drill Tuesday. Area police and fire services, the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, this radio station, and other services were involved. They were tested on what they would do if required to respond to a serious incident at LaSalle Station. LaSalle County Emergency Management Agency Director Fred Moore says the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s preliminary report is of no negative findings. A more in-depth report is expected in about three months.
