A Flossmoor attorney now represents the Peru woman accused of battering a peace officer at the Etna Rd. Courthouse in Ottawa. 31-year old Angel Farmer hired Attorney Wayne Slaughter to represent her after she also allegedly resisted arrest during a scuffle with the courthouse security guards. She was allegedly trying to bring her cellphone into the courthouse. Slaughter received some evidence from prosecutors Thursday that could be used against Farmer if her case goes to trial. Another court date was set by Judge H. Chris Ryan for January 11th.
