Ottawa’s south side fire station is too small. Two or three people are there on a normal shift and they don’t have a lot of room. City Commissioner Marla Pearson wants room for five or six. The City Council last night put on file a $9,000 design proposal with FGM Architects.
City officials have talked from time to time for years about doing something to improve the south side fire station.
