Peru Police Chief Robert Pyszka is retiring. He took the job in August last year. The deputy chief serving with him since then will become the chief on November 27th.
Pyszka says he’s enjoyed being a police officer in Peru for the last 32 years and the chief since last year. But he says, “There comes a time to let go and allow someone else to achieve their goals”. Pyszka thanks Police Chief Don Clausen for giving him a chance to fulfill his dream of being a police officer all those years ago. And he thanks Mayor Ken Kolowski for appointing him chief to fulfill his final career goal.
Pyszka announced his retirement this morning.
