One man was shot and another was reportedly hit by a car. Those were the early reports to police about 1am Sunday. Police believe both incidents in the Starved Rock State Park area were related. Ambulances were called for both.
The call about a man hit by a car was in front of a house on Illinois 71. A few minutes later, there was a call about a man shot in one of his legs on E. 1069th Rd., which comes off Illinois 71.
