The city of Peru broke their record for sales tax revenue. This year, the city budget has about $7.1 million, which is about $679,000 more than last year. They also had record high home rule tax revenue. That came in at about $4.5 million. The city also says motor fuel, hotel/motel, and video gaming revenue were also up over 2021.
