Marseilles man to give free rides for people to vote

By WCMY News Nov 7, 2022 | 12:11 PM

If you can’t catch an NCAT bus to vote Tuesday, a Marseilles resident will give you a free ride to the polls. David Raikes, resident and former business president for Laborers Local 393 in Marseilles, says he does it because he understands that some people are facing hardships and can’t vote because they don’t have a car. Anyone interested can call him at 815-795-7989. He says if he picks someone up, that person need know where his or her precinct is and now if you are registered to vote.

You also have to live in Ottawa, Marseilles, or Seneca to be picked up.
