One charge of aggravated battery and two charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm were approved by a grand jury Monday against the Sheridan man accused of causing a ten hour standoff last month. 55-year old Jeffery L. Plique allegedly shot a man in the leg at the Sheridan Food Mart. He also allegedly shot at another man who thought Plique was waving at him. Plique was later forced out of a house with tear gas before he was arrested. His bond was set at three million dollars two weeks ago. He’s scheduled to be back in court on Thursday.
