About two dozen employers with hundreds of jobs to fill will be at a job fair in Ottawa Thursday afternoon. It’ll be from 1pm to 5pm at the Salvation Army at Chestnut and Madison streets. Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce Member Services Coordinator Julia Petterson says employers are having trouble finding enough people to fill jobs lately. Some will interview job seekers at the fair.
Petterson recommends dressing professionally, taking copies of your resume, and being ready for an interview.
