“Maid” given away for IVCC’s part in One Book One College

Illinois Valley Community College bought 200 copies of Maid by Stephanie Land. The college is giving away copies for Domestic Violence Awareness Month for this year’s One Book One College program. Librarian Grace Norris says it’s about a woman struggling with an abusive relationship and a low income.

Norris says for One Book One College, IVCC chooses a topic that people need to be aware of. The book Maid was made into a TV series on Netflix.
