Ameren Illinois dealt with several power outages from Ottawa to central Illinois yesterday. The one in Ottawa affected more than 1,100 customers on the south side. The company hasn’t replied to our request for information about the cause. A WCMY employee reported seeing power lines down near Pleasant View Lutheran Home. Power was off for about four hours.
