The city of LaSalle is changing its garbage service next year. The city made the announcement in August this year after issues city officials and residents were having with their current provider Republic Services. Residents who have questions about it can attend an informational meeting at LaSalle City Hall Thursday starting at six. City officials will explain some of the changes coming which includes switching to 95-gallon bins. The city says they plan to have more informational meetings in the future. Any questions that can’t be answered will be answered by city officials once they can discuss the details with the new company called Lakeshore Recycling Services.
