Weekly COVID report: One additional death, current cases keep falling

LaSalle County has remained in the low community spread level for COVID-19 for the last six weeks. And for a thirteenth week in a row, current coronavirus cases have fallen. The LaSalle County Health Department reported 876 current cases this week. That’s out of 34,461 total cases so far. The health department also reported one more death from virus. A woman in her 90’s marks the 495th death in the county. 119 also recovered this week for a total of 33,585.
