A Streator neighborhood could get sewer work paid for by the state. City Engineer Jeremy Palm will apply for a state grant. It’ll pay $954,000 to install sewer pipes in the Liz Mar Addition. That’s expected to be the total cost. Palm says 25 homes there have no sewer service. The City Council this week approved applying for the grant. The application deadline is November 15th.
