The fourth annual Lit Fest hosted by Prairie Fox Books is this Saturday in Ottawa from ten to four on the Jordan Block. Dylan Conmy with Prairie Fox Books says there will be three featured authors that will discuss their books and tell stories on stage. The authors will also have copies to sign and sell.
The event will also have a used book sale that was done by the American Association of United Women before the chapter folded. There will also be local authors with books that cover multiple genres. Two authors he discussed were Marydale Stewart and L.A Guettler.
Conmy says there will be food truck and popcorn for sale. He says popcorn sales will benefit the Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk happening the same day. He says reading is still thriving in this area and people are excited for the event.
