The organization that put on the Riverfest used book sale is going away. American Association of University Women Ottawa chapter president Olivia Romine says the book sale is already gone. There aren’t enough members anymore to keep things going.
Romine says at the last book sale, AAUW raised $5,000 and funded $4,000 in scholarships for women going to college. Money left over goes to the national UUAW organization.
